About / Cost

Set-up Cost

To set you up with your new practice management features, we charge a once-off set up fee of $350. This fee covers the initial set-up and training, including:

  • Setting-up your software account
  • Creating a log-on ready access for up to 20 users
  • Up to two hours of software training for two users
  • Software manual

Monthly Subscription Fee

Regular user: $85

LIV member*: $70

*A discounted monthly fee is available for the members of Law Institute of Victoria. Learn more and become a member at www.liv.asn.au/Membership.

Cancellation Fee

The Law Institute of Victoria is required to store your data for seven years from the date you cancel your subscription. During this time, your data is accessible but cannot be changed. To cover the costs, a once-off fee of $500 applies upon the service cancelation.

Note: All prices are GST exclusive.

System Requirements

LIV Trust Accounting Online Software does not require installation and is access from your system browser (please ensure your browser is up to date). All browsers are compatible; however we recommend using Google Chrome for optimal performance.

Security and Privacy Settings:

The browser’s default settings are recommended to ensure the functionality of the software, If you encounter issues running the software, please doublecheck your system settings and ensure JavaScript is enabled.

Internet Explorer 6

Ensure that the Internet Zone in the Security Zones settings is set to Medium.

Internet Explorer 7 or later

Ensure that the Internet Zone in the Security Zones settings is set to Medium-High.

Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or later

In the Tools menu under Options, ensure that Enable JavaScript is selected.

Safari 2.0.4 or later versions

Click Safari, Preferences, Security, and then Web Content and make sure that Enable JavaScript is selected

Chrome 2 or later versions

From menu select Settings, and click ‘Show advanced settings’. In the Privacy section click ‘Content settings’, and then under Javascript section select ‘Allow all sites to run JavaScript’.


Required third-party Software

To export and print reports, receipts and other information, you may need third party software such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.

A once only fee of $200, provides

  • set-up of the software account
  • log on ready-access for up to 20 users;
  • up to 2 hours software training;
  • access to the software manual.

Monthly Subscription Discount for LIV Members

As a member of the LIV or as an interstate Law Society Member, you will save $22 on the monthly subscription fee for the entire time you maintain your LIV membership, paying only $55 (incl GST). The monthly subscription fee is $77 for non-members.
